Seen & Heard. Cricut cartridge storage by Recollections.

There are plenty of good ideas for Cricut cartridge storage out there and they keep coming.  There’s this , and this , and this, and my personal favorite – this.  Here is what I used:

….that is until I went to Michael’s yesterday and saw this at 40% off which made it only $14.99!
It’s made by Recollections and holds 16 cartridges, but I could only get it to hold 12 overlays and books – which is weird.  You might be able to smush some more in there but I didn’t want to risk it.  It also holds my tools and my color ink marker/pens.  The cartridges tend to fall out once you lift this up, so I did this to help hold them in place.
Overall, I think it’s a pretty neat system for my on-the-go scrapping!  You can’t beat it for the price.

  1. Any chance you have directions on cutting the plastic canvas for the storage route you took? I have the containers just need the guidance for assembly.

  2. Hi! If you're referring to my original cricut storage before I switched to the Recollections, I sort of just winged it! I cut the plastic into strips the approximate height of the cartridge when standing upright (with the prongs facing down). Then I cut another strip the same height for the dividers so that the rows formed a square. From there, I took out a column from the bottom of one of the strips and a column from the top of another and cut away where I wanted the two to intersect - so maybe 4 or 5 deep - then hooked them together to make a bunch of squares to hold the cartridges! Let me know if you would like me to send pictures! Good luck! Thanks for looking! Christie

  6. Hi Christie...

I also just purchased the RECOLLECTIONS CRICUT CARTRIDGE BINS ~~ and I LUV LUV LUV it...I was able to get in the 16 cartridges with the books and overlays...

Did you take out all the foreign language pages...your book will be much thinner if you take out all these pages...just be careful not to take out any English pages with it ~~ sometimes one side of the page is English and one side is another language...so do this carefully...

Also I put each overlay inside the book...this way I have the book and the overlays together...

Thank you so much for sharing...

    Have a fun summer day...
