<a href="http://pinterest.com/" target="_blank">Pinterest</a>. I love it. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have found so many inspirations but I don't have enough time in the day! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Like <a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/104075441360214584/" target="_blank">this</a>. And <a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/104075441360130334/" target="_blank">this</a>. And let's not forget <a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/104075441360122985/" target="_blank">this</a>. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Of course, you have to get busy making and not pinning all day! So I did.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4xfQCiQj6PhIkGc0ZXgl3sy16qFL-o5JtWvHBX2aNdEbcDvPHhEEhDMZT22PJ-8DwpSpWpR319fq4m-JXgpz7KdqcsQ0jL1bum6OVRqlsf5c5Vr6D_OYaXV-eACY8cEtqY9e7PAAmPEs/s1600/DSC_0134.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4xfQCiQj6PhIkGc0ZXgl3sy16qFL-o5JtWvHBX2aNdEbcDvPHhEEhDMZT22PJ-8DwpSpWpR319fq4m-JXgpz7KdqcsQ0jL1bum6OVRqlsf5c5Vr6D_OYaXV-eACY8cEtqY9e7PAAmPEs/s320/DSC_0134.JPG" width="212" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Found <a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/104075441360222544/" target="_blank">this</a> on Pinterest and knew I had to make it. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You will need a canvas (mine was 14 x 11), paints, and I used my Silhouette for the tree stencil, but you could just as easily free hand.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh44SQiodCIQ8WQTkRABZjEI-dZ3dGMlbBQNBSRhvA18Q6uHgITviVHeB422Pn5RJxycIbNLsk5IBCX-0bl4PJd_iveFO-CPZQz6-lympd-J1fU9G2qaajOEBGCtADo7LNcKqeGF-hpgFg/s1600/DSC_0079.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh44SQiodCIQ8WQTkRABZjEI-dZ3dGMlbBQNBSRhvA18Q6uHgITviVHeB422Pn5RJxycIbNLsk5IBCX-0bl4PJd_iveFO-CPZQz6-lympd-J1fU9G2qaajOEBGCtADo7LNcKqeGF-hpgFg/s320/DSC_0079.JPG" width="212" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
First, I cut out my tree in white vinyl with my Silhouette.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Using the negative image I attached to my canvas and </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
sponge painted the words and tree unto my canvas. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZiKTmetU01qfpu3NZuKQCHIDZRkDfFUjOPuYM9cDmm_x-hWtUWa8w7axv_ZxrFWzk8m42HsSR2uXkDUfqdYJVkZM9iPUlKvpWoZf-5LRE7lgh5FvDwKzL1Q8D8JT-mcaZwMwcSc3twL4/s1600/DSC_0093.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZiKTmetU01qfpu3NZuKQCHIDZRkDfFUjOPuYM9cDmm_x-hWtUWa8w7axv_ZxrFWzk8m42HsSR2uXkDUfqdYJVkZM9iPUlKvpWoZf-5LRE7lgh5FvDwKzL1Q8D8JT-mcaZwMwcSc3twL4/s320/DSC_0093.JPG" width="212" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then when I removed the vinyl I had this fabulous tree ready for leaves.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbUkY1ktuKrk4lczUSpUQC-XKclJSob96wT1YA1Jf-AA0S02OX8JwNZ97L8CvODip0joLO5cNeVOY22Ktf1jTKGw25sIwj1DYLIVJvlcv1g2yoiut_AaBZ2xW7VaA3wZLuedCBqUsc1dY/s1600/DSC_0095.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbUkY1ktuKrk4lczUSpUQC-XKclJSob96wT1YA1Jf-AA0S02OX8JwNZ97L8CvODip0joLO5cNeVOY22Ktf1jTKGw25sIwj1DYLIVJvlcv1g2yoiut_AaBZ2xW7VaA3wZLuedCBqUsc1dY/s320/DSC_0095.JPG" width="212" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My two boys, my husband and I each picked our color and starting adding leaves</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
to the tree with our thumbs and fingers. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Love the way it turned out!! And a super easy project!!</div>

I am in love. There is no other word to describe it. I just received my Silhouette Cameo this weekend. UGH!! This machine is T H E B O M B! I have <strong>soooooo </strong>much to discover, but the minute I broke it out of the box I just knew I had to makeover my kichen aid mixer! Yea!!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiU0J7P6xpsr9KX8wlhlLqoi9UExUIob5tUnNv6mMbW5gQfumr4zxot8u0si-lIyXFMrLVh48EglZTnWw_tvxn4EZwtXZISGrcaS7fAH7q1v_5AKgTI3a1-qLHl3ODpw2NNZn9-ob-BTSA/s1600/DSC_0037.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" kea="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiU0J7P6xpsr9KX8wlhlLqoi9UExUIob5tUnNv6mMbW5gQfumr4zxot8u0si-lIyXFMrLVh48EglZTnWw_tvxn4EZwtXZISGrcaS7fAH7q1v_5AKgTI3a1-qLHl3ODpw2NNZn9-ob-BTSA/s320/DSC_0037.JPG" width="212" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This little project took me all of about 45 minutes (because I'm a newbie) - <br />
and I am loving the results! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'll share my to-do's below.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggFia0c-DL70I2Ykl98pt1DzDcLg_9UNrz_nVZ7l9zhzd1el5lMEbT-GBA9rsHuudTnJBcXMG8fMTJII51oj9UTIylq92mkbo1SRnGFwdUpchR_50TJzZKz6ws-SfZ07T1iozBJuU-h7Q/s1600/DSC_0029.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" kea="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggFia0c-DL70I2Ykl98pt1DzDcLg_9UNrz_nVZ7l9zhzd1el5lMEbT-GBA9rsHuudTnJBcXMG8fMTJII51oj9UTIylq92mkbo1SRnGFwdUpchR_50TJzZKz6ws-SfZ07T1iozBJuU-h7Q/s320/DSC_0029.JPG" width="212" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Ok, for the wording on the top I just loved what <a href="http://www.createcraftlove.com/2012/07/kitchen-aid-mixer-vinyl-makeover.html" target="_blank">Create.Craft.Love</a> did so I had to recreate! I found my London Tube font at <a href="http://www.fontspace.com/jonathan-paterson/london-tube" target="_blank">Fontspace</a>, and used the same cupcake from the Silhouette online store found <a href="http://www.silhouetteonlinestore.com/v2/viewShape.aspx?id=7550" target="_blank">here</a>. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Some people may just want to stop after that. Not me. I wanted to fancy it up after that, so I found TypeBackgrounds font, which has some pretty neat scrolls. I printed 3 of those in the same size (4.82 W x 6.070 H), then another that was 2.795 W x 3.525 H (for the back round area), and applied randomly to my mixer.</div>
<br />

I have TONS of these bottles and have been frantically searching Pinterest for something to make out of them! I couldn't find anything that would work for me, so I decided to wing it. </div>
<br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Using torn up orange tissue paper, Modge Podge, green spray paint, and my new Silhouette Cameo machine (for the vinyl faces) I created Pumpkin Tealights!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5Rq9uobJgYAfLb1MXiTXt1mCAQObk0xq2ZO73nAtp3Y8QJVD5jd7OCZ4FTY858YWS_3dQGg1aHej9Ciehk_Nd8R-Gn4Mg59Uhyphenhyphen5IQRzUzoBrZXb2tlPjNvslQ27m9Szyf-16Gk4GAtBQ/s1600/DSC_0041.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" kea="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5Rq9uobJgYAfLb1MXiTXt1mCAQObk0xq2ZO73nAtp3Y8QJVD5jd7OCZ4FTY858YWS_3dQGg1aHej9Ciehk_Nd8R-Gn4Mg59Uhyphenhyphen5IQRzUzoBrZXb2tlPjNvslQ27m9Szyf-16Gk4GAtBQ/s320/DSC_0041.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once lit, they bottle does get a bit warm, but I burned it until the candle wax was gone (without the lid) and it worked perfect! (If you are using vinyl to decorate the front, be sure to push the candle as far back away from the vinyl as you can as it could melt)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now I have my giveaways for my Annual Pumpkin Carving Party!! Woo hoo!!</div>

I'll warn you ahead of time - there are LOTS of pictures in this post!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

The polka dot balloons are from Target and they are attached with polka dot ribbon, and the 36" polka dot balloon is from a local party store, but you can buy them online (<a href="http://www.shopsweetlulu.com/item/36-Round-Balloon-White-Cloud/378/c9" target="_blank">like from here</a>).</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVyYai4y7cs3M7SZuy2tr5r75M_qalf9OjRqvt4K3SUa_avUeYGKhK-BMoDNN29PiGYQgGNFhyphenhyphenj3dVmtWHyN0idyj1SH6wDPC2KtR1uHPHBQ2xsmo3rXSTtqpwfp2HNZK9s2sVcFLJ3us/s1600/DSC_0086.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVyYai4y7cs3M7SZuy2tr5r75M_qalf9OjRqvt4K3SUa_avUeYGKhK-BMoDNN29PiGYQgGNFhyphenhyphenj3dVmtWHyN0idyj1SH6wDPC2KtR1uHPHBQ2xsmo3rXSTtqpwfp2HNZK9s2sVcFLJ3us/s320/DSC_0086.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The banner is from the printables package, printed on cardstock and strung together with red polka dot ribbon and double-sticky tape.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrFIb8iK0lznDNy127iUZpLh0I4u8zTgDWXmuuFWYbCQUcwwvO45_uiSV2T0B1IXW3OTXDTbVyT-fxtMhmSn3FHb98Z8gArW5IgYU0f63OC8TVxcHHmWX90Xlpbo0WtGW8PKBXU7pIJBY/s1600/DSC_0094.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrFIb8iK0lznDNy127iUZpLh0I4u8zTgDWXmuuFWYbCQUcwwvO45_uiSV2T0B1IXW3OTXDTbVyT-fxtMhmSn3FHb98Z8gArW5IgYU0f63OC8TVxcHHmWX90Xlpbo0WtGW8PKBXU7pIJBY/s320/DSC_0094.JPG" width="212" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I purchased Costco water and replaced their label with my printed one. Those blue buckets are from the $1 stop at Target, with a printable on the front. The block you see behind the bucket - holding the bowling ball cake pops - that is a green floral foam block decorated with ribbon. I purchased some caramel and cheese popcorn to put into the Popcorn boxes I purchased from <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/HeyYoYo" target="_blank">HeyYoYo</a>. The plastic tubes are from <a href="http://www.cafecrop.com/crafter-home" target="_blank">Cafe Crop</a>, my local scrapbook store. I filled them with blue and red gummy bears from <a href="https://www.albaneseconfectionery.com/index.php" target="_blank">the Albanese Candy factory</a> - yum! Lego Birthday Party.A few years ago before I discovered blogging, Logan was REALLY into Lego's, so it only made sense to have a Lego themed birthday party! I searched high and low for ideas and my party is a compilation of all the things I found. <br />
<br />
This was by no means a way-out-there party or anything, but my first attempt at an At Home Party and although it was no less than 94 degrees that day (with 200% humidity - I'm not kidding!!) I think it went over well! I hope you find inspiration here!<br />
<br />
First, I free handed the number 7 on a large cardboard box that I had broken down. I then glued one-inch square tissue paper unto the number, using a pencil as my applicator.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKpO99yQGouPzhhJ-J12c8fFZm2LMgc8yTFk2_PAXurjzvi0P8Rkh2taTNiK3rumTYiWur-vCqEFKq6qTeYpmr-xq-FHPBqD0emSeNQTaBNk60iuj9s1mCwYqYwk5VJWaj2nnUBKWclTE/s1600/131.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKpO99yQGouPzhhJ-J12c8fFZm2LMgc8yTFk2_PAXurjzvi0P8Rkh2taTNiK3rumTYiWur-vCqEFKq6qTeYpmr-xq-FHPBqD0emSeNQTaBNk60iuj9s1mCwYqYwk5VJWaj2nnUBKWclTE/s320/131.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Next was my homemade lego pinata. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I took two cereal boxes, cut out a large rectangular hole in the front of both</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> and glued them together (so that the candy will go into both boxes). </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Then I cut a hand-sized hole at the top (for filling the candy). </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">At this time, I also added a handing apparatus - a thick plastic cord.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Then I paper machied the whole thing with newspaper and watered-down glue.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I took little candy cups from Michael's and painted them red then covered the whole thing with red crepe paper and glue the candy cups in place. Voila - lego! (Apologize again for no instructional photos - as I said, it was before I discovered blogging!) </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKz459HJgOLD2Z7FvMbNTkRPLgbMH1Ef5LbaC4knWwMPyer8Eq3ih5vIDEZhpl_1Mz9i1IvHjML_q5SkqAMm3KAPQU-Zul3-axV2VliaqamISsC0di4mqNbc3AsyjkBjXAffKkH1lSDMY/s1600/141.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKz459HJgOLD2Z7FvMbNTkRPLgbMH1Ef5LbaC4knWwMPyer8Eq3ih5vIDEZhpl_1Mz9i1IvHjML_q5SkqAMm3KAPQU-Zul3-axV2VliaqamISsC0di4mqNbc3AsyjkBjXAffKkH1lSDMY/s320/141.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I had a "Guess the number of Lego's" in a jar with cards to complete. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The winner kept the jar. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">That was sitting on a table of lego scenes that Logan had put together.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9WsKKUAeBbkpswhMKjAzEw_csfGYbBrxgM1yCTYejCNmXAbYiEKI-1AkFEYOp2cRiBOKdVPN_4l0FTSHVerlmHNHwA4KBN9hKVl1kFK75Rr4mlamc4RK1TAabDaTyL_0jQwLmP4tweas/s1600/132.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9WsKKUAeBbkpswhMKjAzEw_csfGYbBrxgM1yCTYejCNmXAbYiEKI-1AkFEYOp2cRiBOKdVPN_4l0FTSHVerlmHNHwA4KBN9hKVl1kFK75Rr4mlamc4RK1TAabDaTyL_0jQwLmP4tweas/s320/132.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The snack table was just a few munchies. Martha Stewart Lists. Cleaning, Organizing, etc.<blockquote class="tr_bq"><span style="font-family: Georgia;">Cleaning your house while your kids are still growing is like shoveling the walk before it stops snowing. ~Phyllis Diller, <i>Phyllis Diller's Housekeeping Hints</i>, 1966</span></blockquote>That's how I've always approached cleaning with two small boys in the house. Yes, this is clean.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7ZlmBufSAQzS8Rn9Gb6B3aPE_jFBlqYBsPjBDhOEmKnvKHLW_HCp8fTs_-gyfUFJgQlhIYMQWiiYi6-qG36grwXjwdhiyOp2T85YH0jjOp2V-oVDwlE_t5utujcw9-t-gl-iwoTjf14o/s1600/134.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212px" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7ZlmBufSAQzS8Rn9Gb6B3aPE_jFBlqYBsPjBDhOEmKnvKHLW_HCp8fTs_-gyfUFJgQlhIYMQWiiYi6-qG36grwXjwdhiyOp2T85YH0jjOp2V-oVDwlE_t5utujcw9-t-gl-iwoTjf14o/s320/134.JPG" width="320px" /></a></div>However, there are the occasional days where the miraculous three happen: <br />
<ol><li>I have time to clean </li>
<li>I want to clean</li>
<li>I have the energy to clean. </li>
</ol>Those are the days where I get on a roll and then there's no stopping me! Granted, those days are FEW and FAR between, but they do exist - I promise!<br />
<br />
There are <strong>some</strong> cleaning things that I do <a href="http://www.marthastewart.com/274764/cleaning-checklists/@center/276998/organizing-checklists#/181941" target="_blank">everyday no matter what</a>, and those are based on the Martha Stewart "Six Things To Do Every Day " cleaning list that I found some time ago. They are:<br />
<ol><li>Make the Bed.</li>
<li>Manage Clutter.</li>
<li>Sort the Mail.</li>
<li>Clean as you Cook.</li>
<li>Wipe up Spills while they're Fresh.</li>
<li>Sweep the Kitchen Floor.</li>
</ol>These lists are fabulous and a great place to start if you need some organization (like I do!). There are weekly and monthly cleaning checklists, as well as seasonal cleaning checklists.<br />
<br />
Martha has more lists that you may find helpful. She has<a href="http://www.marthastewart.com/274391/entertaining-checklists/@center/276998/organizing-checklists" target="_blank"> Celebrations checklists</a> (which cover parties) as well as <a href="http://www.marthastewart.com/274663/holiday-checklists/@center/276998/organizing-checklists" target="_blank">Holiday checklists</a> (which are for Holiday entertaining). There are also <a href="http://www.marthastewart.com/274838/moving-checklists/@center/276998/organizing-checklists" target="_blank">Moving checklists</a> and another one of my favorite the <a href="http://www.marthastewart.com/274640/homekeeping-checklists/@center/276998/organizing-checklists" target="_blank">Home keeping checklists</a>, which show how to organize a linen closet, and Spring Home Maintenance. I also like her <a href="http://www.marthastewart.com/274978/how-to-stock-cleaning-and-maintenance/@center/276998/organizing-checklists" target="_blank">Stocking Up checklists</a> for cleaning, home essentials and safety.<br />
<br />
You can find all those lists and download them in pdf's <a href="http://www.marthastewart.com/276998/organizing-checklists?tab=index" target="_blank">here</a>. Check them out and tell me what you think!!<br />
<br />
p.s. I am working on the posts for my son's Bowling Party! It was a hit! Stay tuned...<br />

Great Camera gadget - The Strap Buddy.<div style="text-align: center;">I saw an article on one of my favorite blogs <a href="http://www.kevinandamanda.com/whatsnew/house-and-home/a-wednesday-list.html" target="_blank">KevinandAmanda</a> that talked about a camera strap Amanda wanted and this sparked a lot of comments about the best camera straps to have. I must say it got me curious - I really can't stand my stock Nikon camera strap! So at my local camera shop I picked this up and I must say so far I love it!! </div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://photojojo.com/store/awesomeness/camera-strap-buddy/">http://photojojo.com/store/awesomeness/camera-strap-buddy/</a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjViDFuMaP3EWo8YGQFBIbKIZw-HjQQFfFDctccUspJ6N33shynFh7z9_3nEuvHV_O1ETKfN4N1olNPzLUSllH7axZ8WC6g2f5n2vuoJHad-0Jk_c2HuLvfckFsmHnrFkPaidKCFuoCAx8/s1600/DSC_0301.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjViDFuMaP3EWo8YGQFBIbKIZw-HjQQFfFDctccUspJ6N33shynFh7z9_3nEuvHV_O1ETKfN4N1olNPzLUSllH7axZ8WC6g2f5n2vuoJHad-0Jk_c2HuLvfckFsmHnrFkPaidKCFuoCAx8/s320/DSC_0301.JPG" width="212" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

Gumball Machine!How cute is this??!! I saw this on my new *favorite* website <a href="http://www.andersruff.com/custom-printable-parties/dessert-tables/ruff-draft-hop-diy-gumball-machines/" target="_blank">AndersRuff</a> and just HAD to make one for my own!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFtwtyjWXlwEw0p7reW1O6-fr6wL7mX4A44SYFzniX4XMBs0aE4Fs0mKKuXYeycYjl0YEIwVToV56l4TlkSpC6lpvZzDLnoV3FvvO6_iTN8_TF4tyJPp1_r_9kbNx6S6kD_1KYtxjiT9Q/s1600/007.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFtwtyjWXlwEw0p7reW1O6-fr6wL7mX4A44SYFzniX4XMBs0aE4Fs0mKKuXYeycYjl0YEIwVToV56l4TlkSpC6lpvZzDLnoV3FvvO6_iTN8_TF4tyJPp1_r_9kbNx6S6kD_1KYtxjiT9Q/s320/007.JPG" width="212" /></a></div><br />
<br />
Here's what you need - I picked it all up from Michaels:<br />
<br />
1) 10" clay pot <br />
2) matching clay saucer<br />
3) wooden "doll head"<br />
4) spray paint<br />
5) large glass fish bowl<br />
6) hot glue<br />
<br />
It was a beautiful day outside when I decided to do this - lucky me! I was so excited to start I almost forgot to take pictures! Hee hee. I painted at least 2 coats on the clay and the doll head. Once dry, I glued the doll head to the saucer and assembled - easy peasy!! <br />

Edible Egg Nests.<blockquote class="tr_bq"><span style="font-family: Georgia;">My favorite weather is bird-chirping weather. ~Terri Guillemets</span></blockquote>I had forgotten this old favorite until I found myself in the Asian Food isle of my grocery story and happen to notice that almost ALL of the chow mein noodles were gone! It then dawned on me why...this Easter classic treat :-)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieUNRr-lci8W217OLQaXVIOK8fgC20Bup6aT_83LlVwgXSq7M58izZ6b_WJ9L7uGNgWsm2MFeWWppQ7QH7X2nrvihBOTdxxGnQ8CmbluYMsPkDSI3u2tefuEFDhyphenhyphenD7MsaF_bkCCstVY7o/s1600/033.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieUNRr-lci8W217OLQaXVIOK8fgC20Bup6aT_83LlVwgXSq7M58izZ6b_WJ9L7uGNgWsm2MFeWWppQ7QH7X2nrvihBOTdxxGnQ8CmbluYMsPkDSI3u2tefuEFDhyphenhyphenD7MsaF_bkCCstVY7o/s320/033.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>There are recipes out there for these, but I just threw my own together using this:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhO3ycL23eCUVRCm-2z_yFBeRBzVPSPWiVcQFOcOciJAChnpKy8DxLMUYq5uKHRP5dkvzFltXXDh1BuQyJYd8tmxVi1l1E7DLSPqBHSuv4s2ob3QNcnl7m4zd_fZtPuUJXi13sNzFE-NiE/s1600/066.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhO3ycL23eCUVRCm-2z_yFBeRBzVPSPWiVcQFOcOciJAChnpKy8DxLMUYq5uKHRP5dkvzFltXXDh1BuQyJYd8tmxVi1l1E7DLSPqBHSuv4s2ob3QNcnl7m4zd_fZtPuUJXi13sNzFE-NiE/s320/066.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
1) one bag of large marshmallows (the pic shows mini - either would work)<br />
2) one bag of chow mein noodles<br />
3) two tablespoons of butter<br />
4) something for your "eggs" (not pictured! I used <a href="http://www.slashfood.com/2006/04/07/cadbury-mini-eggs-review/" target="_blank">Cadbury eggs</a>)<br />
<br />
In a big pot, I melted the butter under low heat and threw in the bag of marshmallows, stirring until they melted completely. Then I threw in the bag of chow mein noodles, stirring until completely covered with oooey gooey marshmallow...mmmmm. <br />
<br />
I scooped some mixture onto a silpat covered cookie sheet and some into a sprayed cupcake pan - when I do this again I will only use the cupcake pan. It gives a more uniform look, which I like better than the free-form that the cookie sheet produced. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgp7SrX37XF-OA1wABAQvi0N3IaYhhpvXaagk4BacunrcOEC89LZ5trmvYRYrUDCR4OT-F2jslDGFWpJ-XZr9-7bkjelXrJNz7fcGxZlbPJXnKZd03hIOvKFZs5vhf3vT35dk9IEk7KU1E/s1600/034.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgp7SrX37XF-OA1wABAQvi0N3IaYhhpvXaagk4BacunrcOEC89LZ5trmvYRYrUDCR4OT-F2jslDGFWpJ-XZr9-7bkjelXrJNz7fcGxZlbPJXnKZd03hIOvKFZs5vhf3vT35dk9IEk7KU1E/s320/034.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>Once they cool a bit, butter up your fingers and press a little "well" into the nest to hold your eggs. Then put your eggs in there and enjoy! <br />

Easter Bunny door hanger!<div style="text-align: center;">This is such a cute idea, but unfortunately I did not think of it - that credit goes to <a href="http://hoosierhomemade.com/bunny-door-decoration/" target="_blank">Hoosier Homemade</a> for this awesome idea!!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">You will need the following things:</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSRFHGiLYsS97597V1fgjeOEc2kWMJXstYink1JFOUzl5yxgj2S_xMAbwa7pk6AMKtzefMGbNpZTIJvtlJqbC1JSDdpFbM0WleO3D5NeCumeGFYWq3UvS4L4O0zA-LXf6FFNVPOYrEv-M/s1600/043.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320px" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSRFHGiLYsS97597V1fgjeOEc2kWMJXstYink1JFOUzl5yxgj2S_xMAbwa7pk6AMKtzefMGbNpZTIJvtlJqbC1JSDdpFbM0WleO3D5NeCumeGFYWq3UvS4L4O0zA-LXf6FFNVPOYrEv-M/s320/043.JPG" width="212px" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">1) Foam pipe covers - I chose 1/2"</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">2) 14 guage wire </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">3) pink cardstock</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">4) "Fun Fur" yarn </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">5) duct tape</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">6) white spray paint</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">There were three pipe covers in the package I purchased. I took one cover as it and taped into a circle with the duct tape. For the smaller circle, I eyeballed it but I probably cut about 12" off of the end of the other one and made that into a circle also. They didn't look exactly like a circle when I first taped it together so with a bit of working with it, it ended up looking pretty good.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEia5rb1fROThXwGD29nzkYEz3y7NDe_XYbNngh1XPJVVE6s79Alh5zLXXTSwSjK88BAj-JZ_8LhVtdl4sZ37uCd7u1FhSVFo9C4Ny3D8Ykw1AqF0NZH-unIvcG9-VUBsL1nagnix0jM300/s1600/049.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212px" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEia5rb1fROThXwGD29nzkYEz3y7NDe_XYbNngh1XPJVVE6s79Alh5zLXXTSwSjK88BAj-JZ_8LhVtdl4sZ37uCd7u1FhSVFo9C4Ny3D8Ykw1AqF0NZH-unIvcG9-VUBsL1nagnix0jM300/s320/049.JPG" width="320px" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">At this point, I taped the circles together and spray painted it white. This gives a nice background to the yarn in case any were to peek through. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Then I shaped the ears with the wire - again, just eyeballing it.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2mnSHsqxzgObW1XYmT4J49pjsJP00sOl15BTjKdUfUEpFjFVWUUKsODAea9Tut8P08pxeee5uRghnX82B3sI7tLtdvL-f1s3XGPx8cNNdPps6NnNzvWMkDzmrWyZ2Kfl8hUtBFLfh2Ec/s1600/050.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212px" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2mnSHsqxzgObW1XYmT4J49pjsJP00sOl15BTjKdUfUEpFjFVWUUKsODAea9Tut8P08pxeee5uRghnX82B3sI7tLtdvL-f1s3XGPx8cNNdPps6NnNzvWMkDzmrWyZ2Kfl8hUtBFLfh2Ec/s320/050.JPG" width="320px" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Once the ears were formed, I spray painted the pink one white, and began wrapping the yard around them, starting at the bottom. Once this was done, I hot glued the pink cardstock to the back of the ears, then it was on to the body!! I wrapped the yarn around the body until I couldn't see any white. I used almost all of both yarns. Once they were all wrapped, it was assembly time!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Poke the ears in the top, wrap with more yarn, hot glue if needed</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> and hang on your front door for all to enjoy!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgn_kfiPx9wwQsAxMUaKCmo-z5PCxIjtGGFbhQv7r8SCYNqxt2yrMcVwPKZu9tr6iK7YGL17AagnVzC8697plrK0h9dpDkdELtN9_WZHQ9ksxUPkycj4ydIb77t8O4iVdwvsJISi25D36A/s1600/055.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320px" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgn_kfiPx9wwQsAxMUaKCmo-z5PCxIjtGGFbhQv7r8SCYNqxt2yrMcVwPKZu9tr6iK7YGL17AagnVzC8697plrK0h9dpDkdELtN9_WZHQ9ksxUPkycj4ydIb77t8O4iVdwvsJISi25D36A/s320/055.JPG" width="212px" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Hoppy Easter! Bathroom fiasco. Part 2.So when I left you last, my bathroom looked like this.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjb4_-055dpHD4K-aNzDBcxrOO1s7DfT680aB-Bj1Wu07X7cuNrDlbwRItTfwk46ajOVOefaBhUwflFdzTkg_QN1kabGFnBd7Rp-j_jmpByBM7xF0u1rJHeJgyQRMprY0NFDTsDHILRAGo/s1600/281.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjb4_-055dpHD4K-aNzDBcxrOO1s7DfT680aB-Bj1Wu07X7cuNrDlbwRItTfwk46ajOVOefaBhUwflFdzTkg_QN1kabGFnBd7Rp-j_jmpByBM7xF0u1rJHeJgyQRMprY0NFDTsDHILRAGo/s320/281.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
The mold kit of course came back bad. Honestly, I knew we would have a mold problem, which is why I told my husband we needed to tear the rest of the tiles off the top of that funky shelf before we even saw the results of the mold kit. Which we did.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiE8cfPU5gX-qba1LpIqlR2Gzm2dDujmizJRpSHlJZRecppnbBwB21CKqmnoHgMwhDFAG_0ZSmeXOMjFL2By46IKPYKKCn91c9pH24S51ClEv-lQvDgPcSCnVT1xf2P2mNuTbMoMj51vDM/s1600/297.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiE8cfPU5gX-qba1LpIqlR2Gzm2dDujmizJRpSHlJZRecppnbBwB21CKqmnoHgMwhDFAG_0ZSmeXOMjFL2By46IKPYKKCn91c9pH24S51ClEv-lQvDgPcSCnVT1xf2P2mNuTbMoMj51vDM/s320/297.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>At this point, we could both see the water spots and we both knew what the next step had to be. Yep, tearing out the funky shelf (which I always thought was weird, too big, and not necessary). Once we started tearing out the shelf we found this.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxP8CBCnJl0dWa1vPKQx3WfOf5iCMJJLvGA9ibq3VBqqnPJ3lEaS1BoHfpOcWTS8Zt-weslCa_mycX6Cia5efsZ8LjXzVPm-NkxWt-P5a0eyfbGEjKr9nM7JXNWGta9az2oobsD_-hvs8/s1600/308.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxP8CBCnJl0dWa1vPKQx3WfOf5iCMJJLvGA9ibq3VBqqnPJ3lEaS1BoHfpOcWTS8Zt-weslCa_mycX6Cia5efsZ8LjXzVPm-NkxWt-P5a0eyfbGEjKr9nM7JXNWGta9az2oobsD_-hvs8/s320/308.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>Talk about scary....<br />

We didn't need the petrie dish to tell us that this mold was gross and needed to be delt with. I think the scariest part of all was that for a bit of time, we actually thought about re-tiling over the existing structure. That still freaks me out.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2YPYMY1CS17olNuRLmEHM-NocuQ9jQoGFGI-pXsRdTPGmdn5SmebfvHVg9R19HGpzOKmAuo_fFi86XfVPjwhEu2agXBia96VsvhrWlVRb21oNapd4UPB3kePWjkq7qyTOgapAnhfV1II/s1600/318.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2YPYMY1CS17olNuRLmEHM-NocuQ9jQoGFGI-pXsRdTPGmdn5SmebfvHVg9R19HGpzOKmAuo_fFi86XfVPjwhEu2agXBia96VsvhrWlVRb21oNapd4UPB3kePWjkq7qyTOgapAnhfV1II/s320/318.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>So since we found this, it had to be dealt with immediately. So, we start ripping out the funky shelf - all the way down to the two-by-fours and the subflooring. DEMO TIME!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiEfXiR9STIxnp0pMoAtrkE3cMf0TQ6MYNe24dkOJr_SG-FspSHBCiy0HSexLFk8OcwAeHnz2RbhXNf0ASaVtORVQU0Lkhs1UkVW3wETd7IDAX9EyZbedSkj25uruzla4j3eoFAEXwF80/s1600/321.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiEfXiR9STIxnp0pMoAtrkE3cMf0TQ6MYNe24dkOJr_SG-FspSHBCiy0HSexLFk8OcwAeHnz2RbhXNf0ASaVtORVQU0Lkhs1UkVW3wETd7IDAX9EyZbedSkj25uruzla4j3eoFAEXwF80/s320/321.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />

Bathroom fiasco. Part 1.<blockquote class="tr_bq"><span style="font-family: Georgia;">Sometimes, when one person is missing, the whole world seems depopulated. ~Lamartine</span></blockquote><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Ok....so that might be a <strong>bit</strong> dramatic. But didn't you miss me just a little bit??!! Yes, I've been gone for awhile and I apologize. 2012 is my year to really get regular about posting! But we all know how resolutions come out :-(....I will try my hardest. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">So this new year brings me into a new fiasco - the kid's bathroom. The kids have all these *fun* (NOT) toys that stick to our bathroom tub tile surround and it was a bout a month ago that my husband decided to pop one of those suckers off and put it away. Well, lo and behold - a few bathroom tiles came down with it!! So awhile after that, I finally get around to addressing the problem and I begin by scraping the remains of what I thought was mortar off the wall. As I begin trying to chip off this stuff with a chisel and a hammer, more and more tiles start dropping off. Lovely. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHP5Pj1S7K9CfHoJqgHYrfWoHhgPDINE2Hx3l5wF5GlpBleDvqxpYW1OyFnPivNCsqZULXsYpMJ5RxTULmrbGRBsaeJrcoq-VXkhgFUmJEeFUYgvB-yGHLDm3T3mQA8ibF6Nf6-dOzLTo/s1600/284.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><img border="0" height="212px" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHP5Pj1S7K9CfHoJqgHYrfWoHhgPDINE2Hx3l5wF5GlpBleDvqxpYW1OyFnPivNCsqZULXsYpMJ5RxTULmrbGRBsaeJrcoq-VXkhgFUmJEeFUYgvB-yGHLDm3T3mQA8ibF6Nf6-dOzLTo/s320/284.JPG" width="320px" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: inherit;">That's when I realize this stuff isn't mortar, but rather adhesive, so its probably not going to come off easy. I ended up removing all the tiles in that row to replace since most of them were off anyhow. Last weekend I go to Home Depot with my cell phone photos, tape measure, and my money. After about 45 minutes, and $152 later, I think I have everything I need to complete this project. </span><br />

Now don't ask me why I didn't photograph my steps knowing FULL WELL that I was going to blog about it. I honestly don't know what got into me. So I will show you the photos I could find.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMNiJ4byBnLjQPt6mm05SMi8VdKukcty35elHo2UkmhvNM4WFvr-wBeH_bxPVGYACTGedIVambtPEWFi3pFz_huk4C6ZV35cN2-jVoC0KYdjAEgzUlwYMZZv121-UgEkm_PpX8L5VKoaA/s1600/021.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMNiJ4byBnLjQPt6mm05SMi8VdKukcty35elHo2UkmhvNM4WFvr-wBeH_bxPVGYACTGedIVambtPEWFi3pFz_huk4C6ZV35cN2-jVoC0KYdjAEgzUlwYMZZv121-UgEkm_PpX8L5VKoaA/s320/021.JPG" width="320" /></a></div></div><div style="text-align: center;">First, you will Modge Podge the strips of tissue to the jar. I put my hand in the jar and starting the strip of tissue at the bottom, Modge'd it up to the top of the jar. The top is nearly impossible to do with that same strip (it ends up tearing from all the Modge Podge) so we'll worry about that later - just come as close at you can to the top and don't worry about any tears or holes around the top for now. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWFbi8ge-7XkBUGkCVKBSKwfRyT6IFTk7Qx3Zd1NjFZwsqPNV1jYn7kBlVMOXgYLB_gWP7buIQDvwxqePLe7rDaKq7ZSxx8oUW9ggJl9647g1Z7_TE9Zz-64-wKe26cUJMEjCHuTfvQuk/s1600/DSC_0206.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWFbi8ge-7XkBUGkCVKBSKwfRyT6IFTk7Qx3Zd1NjFZwsqPNV1jYn7kBlVMOXgYLB_gWP7buIQDvwxqePLe7rDaKq7ZSxx8oUW9ggJl9647g1Z7_TE9Zz-64-wKe26cUJMEjCHuTfvQuk/s320/DSC_0206.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>While this is drying, you can work on your die-cuts. I used my <a href="http://www.walmart.com/ip/Cricut-Expression-Personal-Electronic-Cutting-Machine/19340314" target="_blank">Cricut Expression</a> - <a href="http://main.cricut.com/shopping/detail-department-Cricut-Christmas-Cheer-Cartridge-0-15.aspx" target="_blank">Christmas Cheer</a> cartridge to cut out these images. However, you can freestyle some snowmen and that's cute too - see!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhR6h6aNyD7MA3N9WZ6HDtg4AnT-By1edQK1itzf_SiPrtVbW87h4TBOjToNPETlMJzRwf_0OgZOtijVysJQZ72fqxJsv3BJlmDy9S4uTk6eulkqjZuygUpvKnUO8tX8ZMo41wddm8AHj4/s1600/023.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhR6h6aNyD7MA3N9WZ6HDtg4AnT-By1edQK1itzf_SiPrtVbW87h4TBOjToNPETlMJzRwf_0OgZOtijVysJQZ72fqxJsv3BJlmDy9S4uTk6eulkqjZuygUpvKnUO8tX8ZMo41wddm8AHj4/s320/023.JPG" width="212" /></a></div>Once you get the die-cuts together, you can Modge Podge them right onto the front of the jar. Now is when you want to see if there are any spots you missed and to finish the top of the jar. My tops turned out well and here's what I did. I took a strip of tissue and wrapped it around the top of the jar horizontally. That way, it covered the whole top in one swoop!<br />

Cupcake in a Jar.<div style="text-align: center;">I wanted to make something small and cute for my Church preschool committee gals so this is what I came up with - taken from this <a href="http://mycakies.blogspot.com/2010/03/diy-cupcake-in-jar.html" target="_blank">great blog!</a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

<div style="text-align: center;">...I did cheat and use store-bought red velvet cake mix. Sorry ladies. I tasted a cupcake though and it was really yummy. <span style="font-family: inherit;">So on Thanksgiving weekend we visted </span><a href="http://www.henslernurseryindiana.com/" target="_blank"><span style="font-family: inherit;">Hensler Tree Farm</span></a><span style="font-family: inherit;"> to get our Christmas tree. It was a super windy day and the threat of rain was always near, but also unusually balmy for this time of year (close to 60 degrees!).</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">We rode the wagon out to the fields, walked up and down the isles of many trees, and finally settled on one that Logan spied. He helped Papi cut it down - sometimes Deklen helped too. </span><br />

Deklen's First day of Preschool.Monday...his first day of school...including Kindergarden, only 17 more years to go. It was sad for me, knowing he's starting down the path to adulthood. That first day of school represents a loss of innocence, moving from "my baby" to "my boy". When he returned home that day, his first words were "Mami, I thought about you guys today." Awwwww....<br />
